A new step for Couteaux Corses®
The U Paisanu and U Simplicite folding corse knives are designed and signed by Couteaux Corses®. Designed for everyday use, they focus on simplicity, balance, robustness and quality of materials. Each knife is a unique piece, presented with its own characteristics.
Since 2011, Couteaux Corses® selects, presents and defends the handcrafted Corsican knife.
This experience leads us today to take a new step with models designed and signed by Couteaux Corses®.
Thoughts about what has always guided our selection — simplicity, robustness, use, balance, quality of materials and identity — these knives extend our design of the Corsican knife: an object made to serve, last and be transmitted.
U Paisanu
U PAISANU
U Paisanu is a folding corse knife designed around daily use.
U Paisanu is a model designed around usage.
A simple knife in principle, solid in its design and without any unnecessary element.
Its identity rests on the balance between the blade, the handle, the materials and the proportions of the piece.
Each Paisanu U will be presented individually with its real characteristics: steel, material of the handle, dimensions, weights, mounting and finishes.
Each piece will be unique.
U Simplicity
U Simplicite is a foldable corse knife with sober lines, designed without superfluous.
U Simplicity comes back to the essentials of the knife.
A readable line, simple design and attention to what really counts: use, balance and quality of the piece.
As with U Paisanu, each knife will be presented with its own materials, dimensions and characteristics.
A part sold will never be reproduced.
Models, but still unique pieces
A model defines a line, a design and an identity.
It does not mean serial reproduction.
Several knives may belong to the same Couteaux Corses® model, but each piece will retain its own materials, nuances, dimensions and finishes.
One horn is never exactly similar to another. A wood has its own venage. The manufacturing details belong to each knife.
This is why every Couteaux Corses® knife will remain a unique piece.
The part photographed will be the one actually proposed for sale.
Once sold, it will not be reproduced.
Designed and signed by Couteaux Corses®
The models are designed and signed by Couteaux Corses®.
The Couteaux Corses® models will benefit from a lifetime warranty.
They will also be able to return once a year to the workshop for a complete and free review, according to the procedures specified during their marketing.
This approach corresponds to our design of the artisan knife: the relationship with a piece does not stop at the time of its sale.
A knife intended to last must be able to be followed.
Available shortly
The first Couteaux Corses® models are currently being prepared.
U Paisanu and U Simplicite will be available shortly on Couteaux-Corses.fr.
Parts will be put online at the pace of their actual availability.
There will therefore be no artificially announced production or mandatory release schedule: each knife will appear on the site when it is actually available for sale.
