RIGHT OF RETRACTATION
1. TIME OF RETRACTATION
The consumer has 14 days to exercise his right of withdrawal when buying a product from a distance.
For sales of goods, this period runs from the day the product is received by the consumer or by a third party, other than the carrier, designated by the consumer.
The day of reception is not counted within the time limit. If the deadline expires on a Saturday, a Sunday, a holiday or an unemployed day, it shall be extended until the first working day following.
2. HOW TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT OF RETRACTATION
The consumer may exercise his right of withdrawal without having to justify his decision.
He must inform Couteaux Corses® of his will to withdraw before the expiration of the fourteen-day period, by means of:
of the withdrawal form shown below;
of a clear and unambiguous statement expressing its will to retract;
or the online retraction functionality made available on the site when it is available.

3. RETRACTATION ONLINE
When an online withdrawal feature is offered on Couteaux-Corses.fr, it allows the consumer to exercise their right of withdrawal free of charge.
The consumer must be able to indicate the information necessary to identify his order and receive confirmation of his request.
After validation of the application, an acknowledgement of receipt is sent to the consumer on a durable medium.

4. RETURN OF PRODUCT
After having communicated its decision to withdraw, the consumer has a maximum period of 14 days to return or return the product to Couteaux Corses®.

The knife must be properly packed and adequately protected to avoid damage during transport.
Direct return costs remain the responsibility of the consumer.
5. STATUS OF RETURNED PRODUCT
The consumer may manipulate the product to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and proper functioning.
Its liability can be incurred in the event of depreciation resulting from manipulations going beyond what is necessary for this verification.
The absence of the original packaging does not automatically remove the right of withdrawal.
Due to the nature of the knives, however, suitable protective packaging is needed to prevent damage during return.
6. REPAYMENT
Where the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Couteaux Corses® shall reimburse the sums paid for the order, including the delivery costs corresponding to the standard delivery method proposed at the time of the order.
If the consumer had chosen a method of delivery that was more expensive than the standard mode proposed, the corresponding supplement is not refunded.
The refund shall be made no later than 14 days after the date on which Couteaux Corses® is notified of the withdrawal decision.
For a sale of goods, the refund may be deferred until the product is recovered or until the consumer provides proof of its shipment, whichever is earlier.
Unless otherwise agreed, the refund is made using the same method of payment as the one used in the order.
7. SINGLE PARTICIPATIONS
The fact that a knife is artisanal or a unique piece does not remove the right of withdrawal.
A unique piece sold on Couteaux-Corses.fr therefore enjoys the right of withdrawal under the same conditions as another product, unless a legal exception applies.
8. PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made according to consumer specifications or clearly personalized.
This exception may include a knife specially engraved, modified or customized at the express request of the customer when this customization meets the requirements of the law.
The only artisanal or unique character of a knife is not, on its own, a cause of exclusion from the right of withdrawal.
